Reflexology is a therapeutic method of relieving pain by stimulating predefined pressure points on the feet. This controlled pressure alleviates the source of the discomfort. Reflexology may be as effective for promoting good health and for preventing illness as it may be for relieving symptoms of stress, injury, and illness. Treatment includes additional range of movement, stretching and deep compressions; may also include a kinesio taping treatment. This modality can be very beneficial for all types of foot/ankle pain such as sprains, strains, achilles tendonitis, plantar fascilitis, shin splints, etc. This is an add on treatment to any of the above massages.
